The OM17E utilises the latest safety technology, incorporating a dual braking system which includes both an inertia brake and a second patented system which immobilizes the chain in the event of ‘kick-back’. Other safety features include a palm-operated safety switch which prevents it from starting up accidentally, and a thermal overload cut-out.
