The OM19E incorporates a range of advanced safety features. These include a palm-operated safety switch which prevents it from starting up accidentally, a dual braking system which includes both an inertia brake and a second patented system which immobilizes the chain in the event of ‘kick-back’, and a thermal overload cut-out.
