This allows you to remove unsightly and potentially damaging moss and thatch.

Difficult to match in terms of quality-of-cut, the Atco Balmoral 17SK Petrol Cylinder Lawn Mower uses a sprung-tine comb to lift-up the grass before cutting, ensuring an even, uniform finish. In addition, a heavy-duty steel roller at the rear of the machine will deliver a pronounced Wimbledon-style stripe. If you've let the grass grow a little bit too long, then you can elevate the mower by attaching the set of side-wheels, which are supplied as standard.

A key benefit of the Balmoral is its three-way drive capability. The forward-drive can be disabled, giving more control and enhancing manoeuvrability when negotiating garden obstacles; and the cutting-cylinder can be disengaged with the engine running - ideal when moving from site-to-site and when emptying the grassbox. Power is supplied by an easy-starting 3hp Kawasaki engine, which runs on unleaded petrol.
