Its nylon FlexiBlade is much safer than a metal blade, but works with equal effectiveness; while its strong ABS polymer deck provides the sort of durability you’d expect from a steel deck, but with greatly reduced weight (the mower weighs just 17.6kg). The Hayter Allen 446 Hovertrim Petrol Hover Lawn Mower employs a special nylon Flexiblade cutting-system from leading American manufacturers Oregon. The blade is durable, easy to change and cuts ultra-cleanly with no bruising or plant damage. The aerodynamic design of the cutter-deck works with the air-flow created by the blade and a special impellor to hold cut-grass under the deck, where it’s chopped-up finely. This ensures that the cuttings wilt and rot rapidly on the lawn, leaving it looking neat and tidy, and in turn ensuring it gets the nutrients required for vigorous growth.

Like all Hayter products, the Hayter Allen 446 is built to last, with its tough ABS polymer deck and tubular steel handlebars conferring outstanding strength and durability. Extra long handlebars allow you to access ditches and areas under shrubs and low-hanging trees; and tool-free cutting-height makes it quick-and-easy to make performance-boosting adjustments when they’re required (the height-of-cut can be set between 18 and 30mm). Ideal for medium to large-scale mowing-jobs, this model has a 46cm cutting-width and weighs-in at just 18kg.
