It’s powered by Honda’s renowned 5.5hp (160cc) GCV160 four-stroke engine, so noise, emissions and running-costs are all kept to a minimum. The engine drives a premium-quality metal bar-blade that will cut effortlessly through dense, long or damp grass, without damage or bruising.

The Hayter Allen 453 Professional Hover Lawn Mower employs a specially designed impellor that creates a powerful air-flow along the underside of the cutter-deck, in turn allowing the mower to hover just above the ground. The under-deck air-stream also allows each grass-clipping to be repeatedly chopped before being returned to the turf. They’ll then rot down in no time, leaving your lawn free of cuttings and naturally nourished.

Thanks to it rugged ABS polymer deck, high-quality components and superior build-quality, the Hayter Allen 453 is well equipped to withstand the rigours of heavy-duty commercial-use. Its extra-long handlebar works to ensure you’ll have no trouble mowing the banks of ditches and underneath shrubs and low-hanging trees; while its variable height-of-cut (14 – 32mm) provides the flexibility you need to deal with different grass-types.

This model also incorporates an Operator Presence Control; a safety feature that brings the engine and the blade to halt when you release the main handle. It has a massive 53cm cutting-width, so it’s capable of the fast and efficient coverage of very large areas.
