As there’s no need to keep breaking-off to empty the catcher, mulching can cut mowing-time by up to 30-percent. It also allows your lawn to benefit from the vital nutrients and micro-organisms that are released as the clippings decompose (mulching should ideally be undertaken in dry conditions on short regularly cut grass).

Driven by a 135cc four-stroke engine (Honda GCV135), the Mountfield SP505 will prove a reliable, clean-running and fuel-efficient alternative to a two-stroke machine. The engine powers the rear-wheels in addition to the blade, so slopes, banks and rough ground can be covered with ease.
